Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County is a non-profit, 99-bed, rural acute-care facility accredited by The Joint Commission and located in scenic Southwest Wyoming. While Memorial Hospital is a 99-bed community hospital, its reach covers a 100-mile radius. Some 24,000 people receive emergency services each year.
Memorial Hospital will complete a $52 million dollar construction/renovation project in 2010, which expanded building space by a third and is allowing the medical Center to offer even more services to the growing population. The project includes:

The Emergency department is now a spacious 22,000 square feet and has 13 new private rooms for a total of 22.
The Obstetrics unit has been expanded with private rooms, whirlpool tubs in labor delivery rooms, and family nurseries.
Castle Rock Medical Center, Green River Castle Rock Medical Center is a four Physicians and three Physician Assistants on staff providing care for families, internal medicines, and pediatrics with services including lab, x-ray, ambulance service, and physical, occupational and speech therapy. Transportation Union Pacific Railroad. Green River is home to one of the largest railroad switching yards in Wyoming that is located in the middle of town. Take the pedestrian overpass and see the switching engines working and the main line trains arriving and departing right below you! Not many places offer that within walking distance of downtown. The 1930s-era steel and concrete pedestrian walkway is currently closed and is anticipated to reopen in early September 2010, The city began the first part of a two-phase rehabilitation project in April 2010. The project aims, in part, to make the bridge more accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
