Rocky Mountain Power, formerly Pacific Power in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming, is one of the US's lowest-cost electricity producers. Pacificorp has more than l.6 million customers in six western states, 8,470 MW of generation capacity, 15,580 miles of transmission lines, 59,510 miles of distribution lines, 908 substations, 68 generating plants and approximately 6,750 employees. Pacificorp has two other divisions besides Rocky Mountain Power. The Pacificorp Energy group includes the generation/mining divisions of the company. The other division is Pacific Power which serves the states of Washington, Oregon and Northern California.
