Sweetwater County citizens are dedicated to the arts, museums and libraries. 

ART

The Rock Springs Community Fine Arts Center features always has features of local and nationally known artists works. They sponsor a calendar of events on their web page at www.cfac4art.com 

The Western Wyoming Community College has on display a small art gallery but a must for all to visit is their displays of prehistoric animals and artifacts. This is a very fine collection of Dias ours and other creators of the past. Don't miss the American Indian artifact displays. www.wwcc.cc.wy.us 

LIBRARIES

Sweetwater County has nine public libraries and branches. The county library director's office is located in Green River, Wyoming. There two branches located in Rock Springs, one library in each of the other county communities - Wamsutter, Farson/Eden, Bairoil, Granger, and Superior and Reliance. www.state.wy.us/sweetwater  

MUSEUMS

The Sweetwater County Museum is located in Green River. www.sweetwatermuseum.org 

The City of Rock Springs has their historical museum located downtown. The telephone number is 307-362-3138.
